One-Word Reviews

Today's Top Ten Tuesday was listed as One-Word Reviews for the Last Ten Books I Read. This was a challenging list and I really liked it. I had to read over some of my reviews for inspiration as to which words to choose and this is what I came up with.

1. Lover Eternal by J.R Ward - Passionate

2. Dark Lover by J.R Ward - Hot

3. The Smoke and the Sea by Katie Cross - Lacking

4. The Child by Fiona Barton - Tragic

5. The Room in the Ground by John Ajvide Lindqvist - Intense

6. Two Little Girls in Blue by Mary Higgins Clark - Suspenseful

7. Overgrowth by Mira Grant - Scary

8. The Witch of Maracoor by Gregory Maguire - Rushed

9. The Swarm by Frank Schatzing - Smart

10. The Oracle of Maracoor by Gregory Maguire - Existential

Friday Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop Q: As a book lover, what’s your biggest fear? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee-Addicted Writer)  A: Censorship. I firmly believe that everyone should have access to books and no one should have the right to tell you what you can and can’t read. What I do and do not read should be up to me and only me. When the government interferes with reading material, they aren’t just taking away a hobby, they’re meddling with your hopes, dreams, fears, and most importantly, your education. Don’t let the government put itself in a position to control your mind. That never ends well.
