Friday Book Beginnings & Book Blogger Hop
This book pulled me in from line one... What the hell is Conscription Day? Okay, so I knew this book was about an elite school of dragon riders so I could make a little assumption about the day in question, but I had no idea why it was deadly or who was the character wondering whether or not he or she was seeing their last sunrise.
Q: How many "book" bags do you have? Do you use all of them? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Review)
A: Not 100% sure what the question means by book bags, but I'm going to assume it means bags with books in them, of which I have 3. One is full of mystery books from a friend who reads murder mystery almost non-stop, the second has two fantasy novels in it from my last visit to Barnes&Noble, and my third bag has a handful of books on miscellaneous subjects/genres. I don't read murder mysteries often, so I that bag is, and probably will remain, the fullest.

Ooh interesting! I am liking everyone's interpretation of this question! I also referred to the bag I used in school days as a book bag or backpack since I had to lug books back and forth with it everyday. I ended up using my main one for book conventions as well for years! It started to shed on the inside after a good too long of use, so it had to retire as I did not want that stuff on my books! Lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my BBH!
I noticed almost everyone else interpretted 'book bags' to mean totebags so I probably misunderstood the question. But how do other people store their not-yet-read books?
DeleteThat was a great first sentence!
ReplyDeleteI wonder sometimes how authors pick a first sentence. because it needs to hook the reader right away and if it doesn't what's the point? This one pulled me right in.
DeleteYes. Very interesting about the interpretation.
ReplyDeleteI meant bags that have either a store’s name on them, or a publisher’s name, or pictures of books
I guess I could’ve been clearer.
Love your answer.
lol, everyone else seemed to understand your question, based on the blogs I've visited.
