Quotable Thursday

I'm still reading it The Night Circus, but I'm almost done with it...
"The seek each other out, these people of such specific like mind. The tell of how they found the circus, how those first few steps were like magic. Like stepping into a fairy tale under a curtain of stars. They pontificate upon the fluffiness of the popcorn, the sweetness of the chocolate. They spend hours discussing the quality of light, the heat of the bonfire..."

  1. Mmm, we're all on a food theme this week! I want some fluffy popcorn and sweet chocolate! I loved the writing in The Night Circus -- such lovely and magical imagery. I hope you're enjoying it! This is a great selection :)

  2. I've heard of this one but haven't read it. Everything I've heard has been positive though, and your sample is definetly intriguing. I have a feeling there's a bit more to this circus... :)

    1. This book is pure imagination... Its hard to believe so much detail went into a Nanowrimo novel.

    1. Its beautifully written; and although I've seen the negative reviews on GR, I find it hard to believe anyone could be disappointed by it.
